Course Text:
W.E.Boyce and R.C.Diprima:
Elementary Differential Equations, 6th, 7th or 8th Edition,
Wiley.
All three editions are suitable for the course. However, the
instructor will use the 8th edition for assigning homeworks etc.
So, if you use an earlier version, you are responsible for finding the
correct home works.

Help tools:
Some Java applet programs are available through:
http://www.math.psu.edu/glasner/m251c/ . You can use it to plot
direction field plots. Furthermore, a superb piece of software called
'dfield', which draws phase Portraits for ODE, can be found
http://www.math.psu.edu/melvin/phase/newphase.html .
We will come to details later.
