Notice about old editions of the textbook and week 1 homework.....

Hi,

It's come to my attention today that the 6th edition of the textbook does not have the homework questions in it. I haven't seen a 7th edition, so I'm not sure if the same issue occurs, but you should check.

The 8th edition is definitely OK.

As discussed before, it is your responsibility to get access to an 8th or 9th edition textbook.....

However, since this is the first week and we're on a learning curve, it seems reasonable to be a little flexible....

If this issue effects you, please do try to find an 8th/9th edition yourself and submit the homework on time.

If this is really genuinely an unrealistic timescale for you, if (and only if) you see me before class on wednesday, and I get your name, you will get an extension until friday.

Hope this seems fair. This a first homework only thing......
