A) Section 1.3 questions 7, 8, 9, 11, 12 -  'Verify that each function is a solution of...'
HINT: This is just practice in differentiating functions. You'll know you've done the differentiation correctly if the differential equation is satisfied as required. [2 marks per question, total 10]

B) Section 1.1 questions 1 and 5 - 'draw a direction field......, conclusions' [6 marks per question, total 12]

C) Section 1.1 questions 7 and 9 - 'write down a differential equation of the form.....'
HINT: If you find this hard, try some values of a and b until you find some that work. Try to understand why the values you found work. [4 marks per question, total 8]

D) Section 1.3 questions 1,3,4,5 - 'determine order and whether linear/non-linear ...'
HINT: You'll learn how to answer these questions in class on friday. [2 marks per question, total 8]
