Quizzes will be given on a regular basis and will typically be announced in advance. There are no make up quizzes.  The lowest two quiz grades will be dropped at the end of the semester.

 

Homework will be assigned daily.  Most of the assignments will be collected. A list of these assignments will be available on my website.  Late homework will not be accepted.  The lowest two homework grades will be dropped at the end of the semester.

Attendance: Attendance is expected daily.  If circumstances cause you to miss, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for material due, concepts covered, and assignments given!

Cell Phones: Should be turned off during class.  Cell phone usage or usage of electronic devices during class is extremely disruptive both to the instructor and the other students.  

Calculators: Calculators are not allowed in Math 140 for any quizzes or exams but will prove helpful for some of the homework assignments.

 

 Exam Dates: 2/26, 4/2, (Both exams given from 6:30 – 7:45)
