| It is well known that the transformation formula (or modular
relation) for the classical theta function and the functional equation of
the Riemann zeta function are equivalent. For a slightly more general
class of modular relations and functional equations, we consider various
identities equivalent to them. For example, in this survey of such
identities, we discuss Riesz sums, logarithmic sums, "perturbed" modular
relations involving modified Bessel functions, Koshliakov's formula, and
Guinand's formula. |
