|This talk reports on the possible stack for parallel programming models for scientific computing on the petascale or more powerful machines. The goal is to identify potential layers for parallel applications, numerical stencils, algorithms, implementation and run-time optimization oriented to more complex applications and more complex machines. The instance of JASMIN framework is used to illustrate such stacks.|
