PSU Courses Taught

Note: I was on University Graduate Fellowship Fall 2009-Spring 2010, then Research Assistantship Fall 2011, but I truly missed teaching and engaging students on a daily basis.

Spring 2011: MATH 41 Trigonometry and Analytic Geometry: 3 credits Trigonometry and Analytic Geometry (3-4) Straight lines; circles; functions and graphs; graphs of polynomial and rational functions; exponential and logarithmic functions; trigonometry; conic sections. Combines MATH 22 and MATH 26 into one semester course (accelerated).
Technology Used: Course Webpage (Angel). Online Lecture notes, Homework, Gradebook, Communication via Angel email, Exam study guides and review problems, and Worksheets. Angel Screenshots

Fall 2010: MATH 251 Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations: 4 credits First- and second-order equations; special functions; Laplace transform solutions; higher order equations; Fourier series; partial differential equations.
Technology Used: Course Webpage (Angel screen shots). Online Lecture notes, Homework, Gradebook, Communication via Angel email, Exam study guides and review problems, and numerous Mathematica examples.

University of Akron Courses Taught

Note: Akron Courses used webpages on Springboard, so I am unable to provide links.

Spring 2009: MATH 140 Math for Elementary Teachers I: 3 credits Enrollment limited to educations majors only. A problem-solving and inquiry-based approach to number systems; bases; operations, properties, relationships, algorithms of Real Numbers. Introduction to number theory, functions, algebra and coordinate geometry. Teaching future teachers how to teach some basic concepts in Mathematics.
Technology Used: Online (Springboard) Lecture notes, Quizzes, Homework, and Worksheets.

Fall 2008 (Instructor and Co-coordinator) and Fall 2007 (Instructor): MATH 100 Intermediate Algebra : 3 credits A review of high school algebra: real numbers, exponents, radicals, factoring, linear and quadratic equations, graphing, and problem solving. I was Co-coordinator with the department head as a second year Masters student.
Technology Used: Online (Springboard) Lecture Notes, Homework and Quizzes using MathXL

Spring 2008: MATH 145 College Algebra: 4 credits Real numbers, equations and inequalities, linear and quadratic functions. Exponential and logarithmic functions. Systems of equations, matrices, determinants. Permutations and combinations.
