I am now Professor Emeritus in the Department of Mathematics at the Pennsylvania State University located in State College, PA. I will continue to reside in State College and will be accessible via the various versions of mail, with e-mail available at rung@math.psu.edu.

Of course, I am always pleased to welcome squash players who are in the vicinity of Penn State for a friendly game. My rating is 3.9, and there are local players above and below this figure. Penn State University has 10 American-size courts. We play with the international ball, but several of us still remember the "other" game.

My first grandchild, Donald Rung, was born to Don and Lisa Humbert Rung in October, 1997. He now has a brother, Aden, born October, 2001, and a sister, Diana born in November 2002. Don is an Associate Professor in the French department at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. Margaret and Andy Virkus live in Evanston IL where Margaret is an Associate Professor in the Department of History at Roosevelt University and Andy is teaching at New Trier High School.
