I am from Temecula, California where I attended Temecula Valley High School. I received my Bachelors in Mathematics from the University of San Diego under the advising of Dr. Jane Friedman.

In the Fall of 2003 I left California to attend the Pennsylvania State University where I worked under Dr. George Andrews and Dr. Ae Ja Yee in the Department of Mathematics. I earned my Ph.D. in Mathematics in the summer of 2007.

During the 2007-08 academic year I am working as a full time instructor at PSU, working with the incoming graduate students as a member of the GTA training team, organizing the Combinatorics/Partitions seminar, and continuing my research in Partition Theory.

Next year I will start a tenure track position at Pacific University. Lisa and I are both really excited about the school and to be moving back to the west coast!

I am currently the faculty advisor for a club: The Penn State University Body Painting Guild. It's a great group of students, let me or the president of the club know if you're interested in taking part.
