Research Interests
My research is in the area of numerical
analysis, and partial differential equations, In particular,
I am interested in the Generalized Finite Element Method (GFEM), which is a Galerkin’s method
using partition of unity to approximate the solution of a PDE. Currently I have been working
on solving elliptic boundary value problems (EBVP) using GFEM, in particular,
EBVP with discontinuous coefficients and EBVP in non-smooth domains with curved boundaries.
