  • Midterms: Feb 15, March 28, May 2 NO FINAL!!!
  • HWA: usually assigned on Mon and usually is due next Mon.
  • Quizzes: once a week, usually (not always!) on Wed, based on previous HWA.
  • Extra credit problems: it is hard and interesting problems, the solutions should be presents orally. Only the first solution will be graded. It might improve your score, but should be used for fun.
  • Grading policy:

  • Each HWA = 8,
  • Each Quiz = 8,
  • Each Midterm = 80,
  • Each extra credit problem = 16.
  • No makeups! Two worse HWA and Quizzes will be dropped.

  • 90% guarantees "A".
  • 80% guarantees "B".
  • 70% guarantees "C".
  • 55% guarantees "D".
  • The lowest three percentage points of a range will be minus and the highest three percentage points of a range will be plus.
