Title: Isotopy of Symplectic Surfaces in 4-Spaces

Abstract: 

In this talk, I will discuss how to deform a symplectic surface in a
4-manifold to a canonical one.  I will give some applications to
classifying symplectic 4-manifolds.  I will also show how analysis and
geometric PDE can be used to studying this isotopy problem.
