The Computing Systems Group uses a trouble ticket system to track help requests.
If you have a question about MathNet or want to report a problem with a MathNet machine or software package, simply send an email message to help@math.psu.edu and a request will be opened. That is, your message will be assigned a request number. You will receive a message confirming the opening of a request. It will have a request number in the subject. To help the CSG keep track of your request, it is important that all email correspondence concering your request use an informative subject containing your request number. The easiest way to insure this is to always use your mail program's reply feature to respond to a message with the request number in the Subject.
The Computing Systems Group can see all open requests and will handle your requst as soon as possible.
When a request has been fully responded to, it is resolved (or closed). No further action is taken on closed request by the CSG, however, if you would like to re-open a request because you feel that additional action is required, simply send email with the request number in the Subject header and the request will be re-opened.
