Abstract:
We use method of lines to compute the surface motion driven by surface Laplacian of curvature. The mathematical system consists of a nonlinear PDE, a Possion equation and an integral equation. The system describs the material particles' morphological changes in sintering. Numerical results and performance of both sequential and parallel computation will be presented.
