I am currently a Ph.D student of Penn State Math Department. I came to Penn State Universtiy in 2004 from China. I got my Bachelor's degree in mathematics from University of Science and Technology of China, 2004.
At Penn State, I am studying applied mathematics. My main research interest is Biological mathematics, namely biological vesicle membrane. I am also interested in various topics in Partial Differential Equations, Complex Fluids, and Stochastic Differential Equations.
I spend most of my spare time on computer programming with C++. I also know some Java. My main interest in Computer Science is operating system design. I am the supporter of Open Source Software. I am using various flavors of open source operating systems, from Linux to FreeBSD.
