I am a graduate student in Department of Mathematics at Penn State University. My research centeres around numerical methods of partial differential equations with low-regularity solutions. In particular, I am interested in and have worked on the following aspacts of this field: partial differential equations on singular spaces; the finite element method; the multigrid method; mathematical models and computation in physics and elastography of medical imaging. Related research work can be found in the Research section. My thesis advisors are Victor Nistor and Ludmil Zikatanov, members of CCMA, the Center for Computational and Applied Mathematics. I obtained my B.S. in School of Mathematical Sciences at Peking University, China, 2002.

(Blue and White --> Orange):

I will be a Philip T. Church Postdoc Fellow in Department of Mathematics at Syracuse University during the next two years starting August, 2008. Get to my new page then.
