Orbifolds are simplest examples. Comparing to the classical theory, new development emphasis on the "stringy" aspect or the contribution of singularities in an essential way. In the talk, we will first describe a "stringy" orbifold cohomology and its application. Then, we will switch to K-theoretic aspect. We will end the talk on an outlook on quantum cohomology of orbifold. |
