Title: Propagation and Sheaf Theory

Abstract: The concept of propagation is basic in various fields of mathematics, mainly in the theory of linear partial differential equation. It may be given an abstract formulation in the language of sheaf theory, leading to the notion of the microsupport of a sheaf on a real manifold, a closed conic involutive subset of the cotangent bundle.

In this talk, I will explain the definition of the microsupport, give its main properties and make the link with D-modules theory on complex manifolds.
