Title: Modeling and simulating dynamic boundary problems in fluids

Abstract: The interaction of fluids with compliant surfaces or moveable bodies give beautiful free-boundary problems that are central to many scientific problems in biology and engineering. I will overview my own work in this area, focusing upon methods of formulation, analysis, and simulation, and their application to problems in pattern formation and fluid/structure interactions.
