New problems Abstract: A host of new results concerning the classical N-body problem have been discovered over the last 5 years, but the "oldest problem" remains completely open. This oldest problem as well as some of these new results will be described. Some of the new methods leading to the new results will also be sketched. The results and methods raise their own new problems, a few of which will be discussed. I will talk with a brief tour of solutions to the classical N-body problem. |
