| Abstract: | The purpose of this paper is to give a precise formulation of the Baum-Connes conjecture in coarse geometry and to prove the conjecture for spaces which are non-positively curved in some sense, including affine buildings and hyperbolic metric spaces in the sense of Gromov. |
