Melchior Grützmann Hello, I'm a graduate student of the Department of Mathematics at PennState University, USA . I joined the working group of Ping Xu in 2005 . In1999-2004 I studied physics at the Friedrich Schiller Universityin Jena, Germany at the Department of Physics and Astronomy. I'm teaching Math 251 every Fall .

In my spare time I'm learning languages such as Japanese or Chinese . Together with exchange students we have a lot of fun in learning and practicing languages. A good friend I got to know here is Zhen Lei a Chinese visiting postdoc from Fudan university, Shanghai.

Another joy I can recommend is singing. Music is international as one can learn in the State College Coral Society as well as in Jena's university students choir.
