Graduate Teaching Assistants

The Teaching with Technology Certificate is sponsored by the Penn State ITS Group, the Graduate School, and participating departments including the Math department.

This award is intended to improve the technology skills of grad students, increase the use of technology in teaching at Penn State, and give recognition to grad students who employ technology in their teaching.

Applicants for this certificate must prepare a "Teaching with Technology Portfolio" following the requirements of the certificate. This portfolio is then submitted to the Math department representative. (The departmental representative is currently John Roe.) The representative will evaluate the portfolio; if it is found acceptable, the representative will forward it to the Graduate School, which awards the certificate.
