Graduate Teaching Assistants

The training program for incoming GTAs comprises a series of one-hour sessions on Tuesdays in the fall semester.

The course sessions involve presentations by experienced TAs and faculty, case studies, and informal discussion.

We aim to get you thinking about what makes a great teacher and to inspire you to be one! At the same time, we provide basic information about Penn State policies and procedures, and about your students' backgrounds and expectations.
