Graduate Teaching Assistants

The work of GTAs who have completed the first-semester mentoring program is overseen by a faculty committee. Your assigned GTA committee mentor will:

• Visit your classroom at least once a semester (more often if needed) and give you a summary of his or her observations;
• Discuss with you the results of mid-semester and end-of-semester student evaluations of your teaching;
• Support your case for a teaching award if appropriate;
• Answer any questions you have about teaching.

The current GTA committee mentors are: George Andrews, Diane Henderson, Chun Lui , Victor Nistor, John Roe (chair), Yuxi Zheng.
