In 1904, current and former students at the Klausenburg Yeshiva published a volume in honor of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the selection of their master, R. Moshe Shmuel Glasner as Chief Rabbi of Klausenburg succeeding his father R. Avraham Glasner who died prematurely at the age of 52. The volume which they called, Shevivei Aish contained their recollections of the divrei Torah of R. Moshe Shmuel on the weekly Torah portion and various divrei Torah on the holidays, and selected sugyot in the Talmud. In this section, we shall post selected translations of the Dor Revi'i's divrei Torah on the weekly Torah portion. To preserve the original style in which his students wrote the Divrei Torah, the explanations of the Dor Revi'i are introduced by the words "our master explained."
