State College is in the center of state of Pennsylvania, about 3 hours by car east of Pittsburgh and 3 1/2 to 4 hours by car northwest of Baltimore, Philadelphia and Washington. Penn State has provided detailed driving directions on this page (scroll to the bottom). There are also several bus services for travel to State College, included this this university-sponsored service to and from New York City. The State College/University Park Airport (code SCE) is served by US Airways (from Philadelphia), United Airlines (Washington Dulles), Northwest Airlines (Detroit) and Delta (Cincinnati and Atlanta). Because of the airport's modest size, participants should make their flight arrangements well in advance of the meeting.

The meeting will be held in the McAllister Building on the Penn State campus, home of the Department of Mathematics. The McAllister Building is highlighted in red on this campus map. More campus maps are available here. Area maps can be found in the usual places, for example here.

Parking on campus is not always convenient or cheap, but the conference hotels are within easy walking distance of the McAllister Building.
