Each of the midterm exams will be 75 minutes long and consist of multiple choice questions, for a total of 100 points each. The final exam will be 110 minutes long, of a similar format to the midterm exams, and will be worth 150 points.
Expect these exams to be difficult! They will all be cumulative (since mathematics by nature is a cumulative subject), although you can always expect more emphasis on the newer material. The questions will not all just be rehashed homework questions; they may require you to put together related concepts. The questions will be designed with a variety of "almost" right answers, so you will need to learn to do your work carefully.
Below you will find a summary of some pertinent exam-related information.
