ELECTRONIC RESEARCH ANNOUNCEMENTS IN MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES

This electronic-only journal publishes research announcements (up to about 10 journal pages) of significant advances in all branches of mathematics. A research announcement should be designed to communicate its contents to a broad mathematical audience and should meet high standards for clarity as well as mathematical content. Papers with complete proofs may be published in exceptional cases if the results are of great importance and very broad interest. All papers are reviewed, and the entire Editorial Board must approve the acceptance of any paper.

PUBLICATION AND WEB ACCESS

Electronic Research Announcements in Mathematical Sciences is published by American Institute of Mathematical Scinces (AIMS) and is available free of charge as service to the mathematical community.

PAPERS

All submissions to Electronic Research Announcements in Mathematical Sciences should be made electronically utilizing the web submission form or submitted directly to any editor; in the latter case the web submission form should be filled out and submitted as well.

AIMS strongly prefers that authors use the AMS-LaTeX macro package.

All papers are reviewed, and recommendations by the editor are put before the editorial board for final approval. Usually a decision will be communicated to the author within 2 months of submission, and the editorial board is committed to rendering a decision within 6 months in all cases.
