Tube-log Riemann Surfaces
Tube-log Riemann surfaces were discovered 10 years ago. These
are Riemann surfaces build by cylinders and planes pasted in a similar
way to the Riemann surface of the logarithm. They are the main tool in
a series of constructions in holomorphic dynamics, providing examples or
counter-examples answering a series of old questions. Most answers went
against popular beliefs.
