STAT/MATH 517 - Probability Theory - SPRING 2009

INFORMATION AND HOMEWORK

The course will develop the basics of Measure Theory, Integration and Probability. The core of the course concentrates on the Radon-Nikodym property, martingales and distributional limit theorems. The course is also designed for pure mathematicians who need to learn about abstract integration theory (e.g. Riesz' theorem, L_p spaces).

Course Information

There will be a weekly supporting session for the course: Every Thursday at 9:45-11:00 am in Thomas 216.
