These links are rather more random, and I found each of them amusing at one point or another.  Not sure if I still do...

  • The Onion. Fairly self-explanatory. And entertaining and stuff...
  • While we're on entertaining news stuff, what if Fox News had been around for certain major historical events?
  • Works of fiction. They're all the same, as these movie spoilers demonstrate.
  • Back to the news: reliable news is also to be had via comic strips. I like Doonesbury.
  • Moving on into sports, this video of random cool soccer moves is worth a look.
  • Some fine moves are also to be found in this clip of some guy with a robot dance I can only dream of.
  • The amazing moves in this ping pong game prove to be not quite so genuine...
  • Albino black sheep occasionally has more cool stuff along those lines. Check out the Llama song while you're there.
  • Speaking of people that have entirely too much time on their hands, would you believe Star Wars in ASCII?
  • If you'd rather have something a little more interactive, Sodaplay looks like it's a lot of fun. I just haven't had time to try it yet.
  • Still interactive, but requiring a little less thought, is Addicting Games, which I trust you've found for yourself by this point. I particularly recommend Chaos Theory.
  • Someone put a lot of effort into making a game where you can fall down the stairs.
  • Less physically violent is the advertising slogan generator. Word of warning - be careful which slogans you post on your wall. You'd be surprised who might show up in your apartment unexpectedly.
  • Back on the subject of people with entirely too much time on their hands, check out what fun can be had with the postal service.
  • If you'd rather do something a little more constructive with your free time, then consider fixing all the world's problems along with the folks at World Jump Day. I'm jumping.
  • If you'd rather go the opposite route, here are some musings on destroying the earth. This ranks high on my list of favourite web sites of all time.
  • And, of course, there's always Zombo. Turn your sound on and enjoy.

Enjoy them, not wisely, but too well. I leave you with the random fun fact of the day, courtesy of the staff at ESPN during the Penn State-Michigan State game - the following five people were all born in 1926 and are still working (as of November 19, 2005):

  • Joe Paterno
  • Hugh Heffner
  • Queen Elizabeth
  • Mel Brooks
  • Fidel Castro
Now there's a dinner party I'd like to see.

  • Silly links
