Homework and quizzes for Section 10 and 12, Math 140.

You have homework dues and quizzes twice a week on Wednesday (except the third due). The schedule is given below.

Grading policy

I plan to give total 8 homework assignments and 7 quizzes. The highest 7 homework with 7 pts per each homework, and the highest 6 quizzes with 10 pts per each quiz, will be counted in the final grade. In each homework, 1 pt is for completeness, 6 pts are for correctness for 6 randomly picked problems. Although the total credit is 109 pts, the maximum you can get is 100. For example, if you get 102 pts totally, you will finally get 100 pts. If you get 97 pts, you final homework and quiz score is 97 pts.
