The Center for Geometry and Mathematical Physics (CGMP) was established in
the Mathematics Department at Penn State in December, 1996. Jean-Luc Brylinski
and Ranee Brylinski served as co-directors. The purpose
of the Center is to promote and stimulate the work and activity of the group
of researchers here working in geometry and mathematical physics. The Center
strengthens the interaction between faculty and students at Penn State as
well as the interaction between researchers at Penn State and other leading
research groups throughout the world.
The key areas represented in the Center include:
