Research :

I have a joint appointment between the Department of Mathematics and the Materials Research Institute of The Pennsylvania State University. Trained as a Physicist, doing research in Materials and Engineering, and teaching Mathematics, I have been enjoying the interdisciplinary university life. My research interests have been on ferroelectric materails and their applications. Examples of the research activities in my group are:
Domain Pattern Formation and Domain Switching in ferroelectric materials.
Design of Piezocomposite Ultrasonic Transducers using computer simulations.
Material Property Characterization using ultrasonic NDE.
