|Title:||1. PDE models for granular flow and slow erosion 2. Generalized Rogers-Ramanujan-Gordon identities revisited|

|1. In the talk we will introduce a first order non-linear PDE model for granular flow. The model is a 2x2 system of balance laws. We also derive some scalar integro-differential equation for the slow erosion profile. Recent results regarding their mathematical aspects will be presented, and some open problems will be suggested at the end. Some of the results are joint work with Debora Amadori and Tianyou Zhang.
2. In his recent paper, George Andrews investigated a variety of parity
questions in the Rogers-Ramanujan-Gordon identities. In this talk, we
will revisit generalizations of the Rogers-Ramanujan-Gordon identities
and discuss some questions related to those generalizations. This is
joint work with Sun Kim.|
