| The talk will survey recent developments in the field of multiscale modelling of materials with a focus on the non periodic context.It will be shown how some appropriately chosen deterministic generalizations of the periodic setting, and some “weakly random” generalizations can lead to theories that are both practically relevant and computationally efficient. The material presented in the talk covers joint work with X. Blanc, PL. Lions, F. Legoll, A. Anantharaman, R. Costaouec, F. Thomines. |
