| This semester, we will be following chapter 4 of Stanley's Enumerative Combinatorics Vol I (Rational generating functions). We will first go over the basics (4.1 Rational power series in one variable), and discuss some refinements thereof (4.2 Further ramifications), as time allows. The talk may be enhanced with examples upon general agreement. |
