| Following the works of C.Liverani, V.Baladi, M.Tsujii and others, we will discuss
a very powerful approach developed in recent years for studying statistical properties
of dynamical systems. The main idea is to introduce functional spaces adapted to the
hyperbolic systems on which the properties of the dynamical transfer operator are studied directly
without considering Markov partitions. This construction leads to simpler and more
transparent proofs of some known theorems as well as many new results. In particular,
it allows to analyse correlation spectrum (and the rate of mixing) for smooth measure,
analytical properties of dynamical zeta functions and zeros of dynamical determinants,
statistical and stochastic stability results etc. |
