| Abstract: We consider a spatial Newtonian 3 body problem.
One can think of the Sun - Jupiter - Asteroid system with
Asteroid performing spatial motions. For a simplified model
we describe a so-called Lidov-Kozai resonance. It turns out
that the spatial motion of Asteroid are fairly unstable and
could easily lead to collisions with inner planets. |
