| I shall explain a new kind of deformation quantization theorem that has been studied by Costello and others. It involves the quantization of observable functions in TFTs, giving rise to factorization algebras. I will discuss one particular example of TFT (real Chern Simons in dimension one). It leads to a Bressler-Nest-Tsygan-type theorem making precise the relationship in between Hochschild homology of the Weyl algebra and the Todd genus. |
