| Title: | A generalization of Drinfeld's classification of Poisson homogeneous spaces of Poisson Lie groups |
| Seminar: | GAP Seminar |
| Speaker: | Madeleine Jotz, EPF Lausanne |
| Abstract: |
| A theorem of Drinfeld classifies the Poisson homogeneous spaces of a
Poisson Lie group in terms of a special class of Dirac subspaces of its
Lie bialgebra. Before presenting this theorem, I will recall the notions
of Poisson Lie groups, their Lie bialgebra and homogeneous spaces. Then,
I will explain why it appears natural to consider ``Dirac'' homogeneous
spaces of a Poisson Lie group, and even Dirac homogeneous spaces of a ``Dirac Lie group''. The theorem of Drinfeld generalizes in a natural manner to a classification of the homogeneous spaces in this setting. |
