| We present combinatorial interpretations for sums having two free parameters. For special values of these parameters it is possible to get new interpretations for many of the identities in Slater's list including the Rogers-Ramanujan
identities, partitions into distinct odd parts and unrestricted partitions. An interesting combinatorial proof for an identity of Euler is given. |
