| The Lebesgue identities have been proven in numerous ways. All
of the known combinatorial proofs are bijections between different
collections of integer partitions. Our goal is to provide a new, novel
combinatorial proof by demonstrating how both sides of the Lebesgue
identities enumerate the same collection of weighted Pell tilings. In the
process, we also provide a new proof of the Gollnitz identities. |
