| The proofs of the Gauss-Bonnet Theorem and the Atiyah-Patodi-Singer Index Theorem using the heat kernel were introduced in the recent Slow Pitch Seminar and the NCG Seminar. In this talk I shall try to discuss in more detail about the proof of the Atiyah-Singer Index Theorem using the heat kernel à la Getzler. |
