| Title: | Inverse problems: imaging and cloaking |
| Seminar: | Slow Pitch Seminar |
| Speaker: | Anna Mazzucato, Penn State |
| Abstract: |
| Abstract: I will describe the so-called Calderon's problem, that is, whether measurements of electric potential and voltage at the surface of a conducting body are enough to uniquely determine the value of the conductivity in the interior of the body. This problem has applications in an experimental method of medical imaging, called Electric Impedance Tomography or EIT, and possible cloaking or invisibility. I will use my computer to project a few slides |
