| Abstract: Random matrix theory (RMT) has its origin in
Statistics and Nuclear Physics. Nowadays, the subject
has grown way beyond these two areas and is at the
crossroads of many disciplines. RMT is not only beautiful,
but is also widely useful in modelling the real world.
In this talk, I will begin with the ABC's of RMT.
Through examples, I hope to bring you some of the
flavour of this interesting subject. |
