| We consider: (a) the complex-valued Hilbert distance on the union of hyperbolic space and its ``exterior'' introduced by Jean-Marc Schlenker in order to extend results of Alexandrov, Andreev and Rivin; (b) realization theorems for timelike convex surfaces of Gaydolovich & Sokolov and Schlenker; (c) intrinsic properties of timelike convex surfaces; (d) Lorentzian analogues of tools in Alexandrov geometry. |
