| A basic question in symbolic dynamics is to construct free subflows
of the Bernoulli G-flow for an arbitrary countable group G. The problem can
be viewed as constructing certain colorings of the underlying countable group
satisfying some group theoretic combinatorial property. In this talk I will outline such a construction and talk about its variations in connection with minimality, orthogonality, isomorphism, and extensions. This is joint work with S. Jackson and B. Seward. |
