| Kirszbraun's theorem states that a 1-Lipschitz function from a subset of a Euclidean space E to another Euclidean space can be extended to a 1-Lipschitz function on the whole of E.
In the nineties Lang and Schroeder proved a generalization of this theorem, which is applicable for abstract metric spaces. I will give a simpler proof of their result. |
